Petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience of order dated 16.04.2024 and order dated 16.07.2024 passed by learned Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 5379/2024.

Admittedly, as per the subsequent order dated 16.07.2024, the respondents were granted further four weeks time to do the needful and it was also clarified that no further time would be granted to the respondents on any ground whatsoever.

Mr. Hemendra Singh, Dy. Commandant (Law) BSF appears on behalf of respondents and submits that the matter is already under process and the legal notice in question shall be duly replied within four weeks from today. It is also undertaken that they would not be seeking any further extension as the matter is, admittedly, delayed considerably. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of on the abovesaid undertaking given by the respondents. 6.

Needless to say, in case, there is no decision within the abovesaid period of four weeks, to be reckoned from today, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the present contempt petition.
