This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 0632/2021 dated 01.12.2021 under Section 323/354/354B/506/509/34 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi and consequential proceedings emanating therefrom.

A perusal of the FIR shows that the same seems to be predicated out of some illegal and unauthorized construction. 5.

It is stated that the petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours and due to various differences the parties filed multiple cases against each other. each other, out of which 2 are filed by the petitioners and 3 are filed by the respondent no. 2.

By virtue of the settlement dated 29.04.2024, the parties have settled their disputes and have undertaken to withdraw all cases filed by each other. 7.

Petitioners are present in court and are identified by Mr. Vijay Kumar, learned counsel.

Respondent no. 2 is present through VC and is identified by Mr. Yashvir Singh Gulia, learned counsel and SI Rajesh Kumar, PS Mukherjee Nagar.

Parties state that they have arrived at the settlement out of their own free will without any threat, pressure, coercion or undue influence. 10.

I am of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the FIR any further on the ground that the parties have arrived at a voluntary settlement and settled their disputes. 11.

I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure ends of justice. The Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings as permitted to continue any further. It is a fit case for quashing. In this view of the matter, there is no reason to continue the proceedings. 12.

For the aforesaid reasons, FIR No. 0632/2021 dated 01.12.2021 under Section 323/354/354B/506/509/34 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi and consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.
