Present public interest petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no. 1/GNCTD and respondent no. 2/PWD, GNCTD to construct a foot over bridge or under pass near the National Zoological Park ("Zoo") on Mathura Road. The petitioner further prays that the red light at Sher Shah Mathura Road inter-section be made operational from 8:00 am to 9:00pm. The petitioner, who appears in person, states that he has made a representation dated 09th September, 2024 to the respondent no. 1 and a representation dated 10th September, 2024 to respondent no. 2 but has not received any response so far.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's representation by way of a speaking order in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within four weeks. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
