This is a writ petition seeking protection of life, liberty and matrimonial life of the petitioners from respondent Nos. 4 to respondent No. 16.

Petitioner No. 1 is the wife of petitioner No. 2 and they are living happily together. However, since it is an inter-caste marriage, respondent No. 4 to respondent No. 16, who are relatives of petitioner No. 1, are interfering in the matrimonial life of the petitioners and threatening petitioner Nos. 1 and 2.

and states that respondent No. 1 to 3 will ensure protection and safety of the petitioners. The mobile number of SHO, PS Sultanpur as well as the Beat Officer of the area where the petitioners reside will be shared with both the petitioners and each call made by them will be promptly addressed to. In addition, the concerned Beat Officer will also ensure regular rounds in front of the house of the petitioners.
