% 27.07.2017 The respondent No.2 has filed a communication dated May 05, 2017 from the Office of the Establishment Officer, Department of Personnel & Training communicating the decision of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet not approving the extension of the petitioner as Director (Marketing), NTC.

In view of this communication, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition. The petition as well as connected application are dismissed as withdrawn.
