O R D E R

% 23.11.2016 An affidavit on behalf of the respondent giving the status of the inquiry proceedings has been placed on record. It is stated that the inquiry proceedings against the 14 delinquent officials which were initiated pursuant to the judgment passed by this Court on 03.06.2011 now stands concluded. The officials at serial No. 1 to 5 (AnnexureA) stand exonerated. The official at serial No.6 has passed away and as such the departmental proceedings against him were closed. Minor penalty of censure has been imposed on official at serial No. 7. Charge against the officials at serial No. 8, 9, 10 and 14 were proved but since they had retired prior in time, they were exempted; major penalty of 10% cut in pension has been imposed upon official at serial No. 11 and so also on officials at serial Nos. 12 & 13. This affidavit further states that the formal order in this regard shall be served upon the concerned officials shortly. This Court notes that this writ petition

already stood disposed of on 03.06.2011.

In view of the conclusion of the inquiry proceedings, nothing else survives in this petition.
