The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner-Salma under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the BNSS seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for the production of her daughter who is stated to have been missing since 29th September, 2024. 3.

When the matter was taken up, the Court was informed that the girl has been traced and has been returned to her mother. The Court has met the mother as also the daughter in the Chamber. The girl has expressed that she would like to go back with her mother.

In view thereof, ld. Counsel for the Petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.
