% 27.05.2025 CRL.M.A. 16636/2025 (on behalf of Petitioner seeking modification of order dated 17th March, 2025) 1.

The Applicant, a foreign national, states that he is not able to furnish a surety for being released on bail since the only relative known to him in the Country is his cousin sister, whose being a foreign national, will not be accepted as a surety. As such, through the present application, he seeks modification of the said condition to the extent that he be allowed to furnish either a personal bond or a cash surety.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar, APP for State, on the other hand, states that the Applicant does not have a passport and his credentials are entirely doubtful. Thus, he urges that the Applicant must furnish a surety, failing which there is a serious apprehension that he may abscond. 3.

as per his knowledge, the Applicant has a valid passport and only his visa has expired. Nonetheless, he states that he will confirm this fact. 4.

The Applicant is directed to file a copy of his passport and visa, if any, on affidavit, within a period of 2 weeks from today, with an advance copy to the State who shall verify the same before the next date of hearing. 5.

Re-notify on 16th July, 2025.
