Petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent bank to accept the balance amount in terms of order dated 23.04.2008 and 12.10.2009 passed by learned Debt Recovery Tribunal-III, Delhi (in short „DRT‟). 4.
When asked, it was informed that the matter is already pending for further direction before learned DRT in February, 2025. 5.
After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for petitioner submits, on instructions, that he does not press the present petition. seeking early hearing before the learned DRT so that the response of the concerned bank is made available to the learned Tribunal to proceed further with the matter in accordance with law.

In view of the above, present petition is disposed of as not pressed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to move appropriate application before the learned Debt Recovery Tribunal seeking early hearing and it is expected that if any such application is moved, the learned Tribunal would consider the same expeditiously keeping in mind the fact that the petitioner is, reportedly, a senior citizen.
