This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. No.711/2022 registered at P.S. Vijay Vihar under Section 451/342/506/34 IPC & Section 3(1)(r)(s) SC/ST Act, 1989, on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 30th September, 2024.

Petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2 are present in Court whereas petitioner No.2 is present through VC, all duly identified by the IO and respective counsels.

FIR. Cross-cases were registered between the parties, the other matter being registered under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act against the complainant herein.

All matters have been settled by the said settlement which is on record of this Court.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 711/2022 under Sections 451/342/506/34 IPC & Section 3(1)(r)(s) SC/ST Act, 1989 registered at PS Vijay Vihar and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
