This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 86/2022 filed under Section 3(1)(s) of SC/ST Act registered at PS Lajpat Nagar and criminal The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

proceedings in case No. SC/595/22 titled as "State vs. Sumit & Ors." pending before learned Addl. Sessions Court, Saket Courts, New Delhi. 4.

As per the FIR, it is stated that petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 and respondent No. 2 are the employees with petitioner No. 3. It is stated that the petitioners used castiest remarks against the petitioner. 5.

During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement, wherein respondent No. 2 has stated that the matter has been settled and she does not wish to prosecute the FIR any further and will cooperate in quashing of the FIR.

Petitioners are present in Court and are identified by Mr. Sunil Choudhary, Adv. Respondent No. 2 is also present in Court and is identified by ACP Jain Narayan, PS Lajpat Nagar and Mr. Gaurav Kant Sharma, Adv. 7.

Parties state that they have arrived at the settlement out of their own free will without any threat, pressure, coercion or undue influence. 8.

I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and the settlement is lawful. Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of the present FIR and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom would bring peace and secure ends of justice.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.

The petition is disposed of.
