The present petition under Section 29A(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 11.11.2023. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended till 02.11.2025 by mutual consent of the parties. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 02.11.2025, and therefore, the present petition has been filed for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.

It is stated that final arguments are being advanced before the Arbitral Tribunal.

In view of the aforesaid, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 30.06.2026, so that the award can be pronounced.
