The present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by this Court on 13.11.2018. The last of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended by this Court till 27.11.2025. Since the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is going to expire on 27.11.2025, the present petition has been filed for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.

It is stated that the evidence is being led before the Arbitral Tribunal. 4.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal from 27.11.2025 to 31.10.2026, so that the award can be pronounced.
