This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

These are petitions filed by the Petitioners who are street vendors and claim to have been vending in different areas of Connaught Place. 3.

The prayer in these writ petitions is for challenging the Town Vending Plan finalised by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation to the extent that it excludes Inner circle, Connaught Place and declare the same as a non-vending zone.

The inclusion and exclusion of parts of Connaught Place as vending and non-vending zones is now to be finalised and decided by the Competent The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

All rights and remedies of the parties are left upon to be agitated after the Town Vending Plan is finalised by the competent authority and norms are fixed in terms of Section 21(2) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.
