1. After the filing of the writ petition it appears that a cheque in the sum of Rs.10 lacs was issued by the Respondent No.4 in favour of the Petitioner towards „full and final claim of disability benefits under the disability claim (AFGIS 231) and (AFGIS 215)‟. A copy of the document titled „full and final settlement" bearing the signature of the Petitioner has been placed on record along with an affidavit of Respondent No.4.

2. Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner is still claiming interest on the afore-mentioned sum which according to him was paid only after the filing of the present petition.

3. At the same time, learned counsel for the Petitioner is unable to dispute

that the Petitioner voluntarily signed the above document of „full and final settlement‟ undertaking to withdraw the present writ petition on the receipt of the aforementioned payment. It is also stated therein "this full and final receipt is executed by me without any duress, coercion with free will and in sound mind and without any pressure from any corner." Counsel for the Petitioner in fact does not dispute that the Petitioner has signed the above document.

4. In that view of the matter, no further relief can be granted to the Petitioner in the present petition and is disposed of as such. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
