Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 („BNSS‟) has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner to challenging Orders dated 16.10.2024 and 05.07.2024 passed in Case Appeal No.184/2024, wherein Externment Orders have been passed against the Petitioner for a period of 2 years. 2.
It is submitted that vide impugned Externment Order dated 05.07.2024, learned Additional DCP had directed the Externment of Petitioner for two years, which was upheld by the Appellate Authority vide Order dated 16.10.2024.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has already undergone Externment for 15 months and he has not challenged the Order on merit, but the period of Externment Orders may be reduced to the period already undergone.

the date on which the Notice was issued and the other submissions, the impugned Externment Orders are modified and period of Externment of the Petitioner is reduced to the period already undergone by him. 5.
With the aforesaid observations, present Writ Petition along with pending Applications is disposed of.
