The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award.

The ongoing arbitral proceedings are in the context of a contract between the parties for execution of "Construction of Delhi Cycle Walkway Phase-I and on Grade Cycle Walk of Neelgai Line", with regard to which an Agreement No. 01/EE/SPD-2/DDA/2020-21 dated 28.08.2020 was entered into between the parties.

The learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed on 28.11.2022. Respective counsel for the parties submit that the arbitral proceedings are at an advanced stage.
