This petition has been filed, seeking quashing of FIR No.369/2017. registered at P.S. Moti Nagar. under Sections 354/341/323/34 IPC, on the basis of settlement dated 22nd October 2024, which is on record of this Court.

As per the settlement, the amount of Rs.3,00,000/- has been received by the respondent/complainant, who confirms the same, being present in the Court.

Petitioner Nos.1-2, are also present through VC, and have been duly identified by IO and respective counsels.

Respondent/complainant has no objection to the quashing of FIR. 5.
Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 369/2017 under Sections 354/341/323/34 IPC registered at PS Moti Nagar and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
