The present contempt petition has been filed by the Petitioners under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 2(b) and Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, inter alia, seeking to initiate contempt proceedings against the Respondents for disobedience of order dated 11th September, 2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 13855/2024 titled 'Vindhya Telelinks Limited & Ors. v. Union of India & Ors'. 3.

An SLP preferred by the Department being SLP (C) 30069/2025 titled 'Union of India & Ors v. Vindhya Telelinks Limited & Ors. challenging the order dated 11th September, 2025 thereagainst has been dismissed on 3rd November, 2025.
