% 10.04.2017 Respondent no.2 (complainant) is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Ram Kishan of police station Jait Pur. She submits that she has settled the matter with her husband, that is, petitioner no.1 and has started living with him since 2nd January, 2015. Petitioner nos.2 to 5 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement, therefore, same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that the husband and wife have resolved their differences and have started living together, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, FIR No.789/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Jait Pur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
