W.P.(CRL) 3682/2024 The present petition has been filed seeking following prayers; "1.Issue a writ, order and/or direction in the nature of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order and/or direction in the like nature in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents thereby directing the respondents No.l to protect the lives and properties of the petitioners from the hands of the respondents No.2 and their associates, who are bent upon to kill the petitioners and to provide them all sorts of assistance and help to enable them to lead a happy married life;

Issue notice.

Learned standing counsel for the State has accepted the notice. Respondent No. 2, the father of Petitioner No. 1, is present in person and submits that he had lodged a missing report regarding his daughter, Pooja, aged 21 years.

Respondent No. 2 further states that he has never issued any threats to the petitioners and undertakes not to do so in the future. The learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that any complaint received from the petitioners will be addressed promptly and in accordance with the law.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, in light of the above submissions, the petitioners do not wish to pursue the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition, along with all pending applications, stands disposed of.
