This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus to quash the Clause 6.6, 6.6.3 and Question 40 of the FAQ's of the Information and Bulletin Counselling Scheme, 2024 published by the Respondent No.1 on 06.11.2024, being in violation of Regulation 4.4 of the Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (PGMER-23); and (ii) Issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus to quash the Clause 2.2 of Chapter 2 of the Admission brochure for Post Graduate W.P.(C) 16337/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Programmes, 2024 published by the Respondent No.2, being in violation of Regulation 4.4 of the Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (PGMER-23); and (iii) Issue a writ or direction or order declaring the actions of the Respondent No.1 and Respondent No. 2 as ultra vires and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India; and (iv) Issue a direction to the Respondent No. 3 (GNCTD) to constitute an appropriate committee in accordance with Regulation 4.4 of the PostGraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (PGMER-23) to conduct the counselling for the 50% internal seats/50% State Quota seats/50% Institutional Quota seats of the medical colleges affiliated to Respondent No.2 University for the academic session 2024-25; and (v) Direct the Respondent No.

1 MCC to conduct the remaining rounds of counselling of the 50% internal seats/50% State Quota seats/50% Institutional Quota seats of the medical colleges affiliated to Respondent No.2 University for the academic session 2024-25 in accordance with Regulation 4.4 of the Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 (PGMER-23); and (vi) Pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 2.

Mr. T. Singhdev, learned counsel for Respondent No.4, on instructions, submits that the present writ petition relates to the academic session 2024-25 and has become infructuous.

I find merit in this submission. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of this case and all questions of law raised in the petition including challenge to the Regulations are left open. 4.

Pending application is disposed of.
