The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the following prayers:

"(a) to issue appropriate writ / directions to the official respondents to initiate appropriate action envisaged in Section 10A r/w Sec 12 & 13 of The Passport Act, 1967 for furnishing wrong information by respondent no. 5 to the competent authority for obtaining New Passport (No. AD831223), while having passport (No. X4569561) stating his status SINGLE vide Application dated 09.07.2025 by concealing the facts he is married to petitioner on 20.04.2025 as prescribed under Section 10(3)(b) r/w 12(1)(b) of The Passport Act, 1967.

(b) to direct the official respondents to decide representation / complaint dated 30.07.2025 of the petitioner regarding violation of Sec 10(3)(b) r/w Sec 12(1)(b) of The Passport Act, 1967 by the respondent no. 5 by giving wrong information regarding marital status as 'SINGLE' to the competent authority to obtain another Passport (No. AD831223), while having passport (No. X4569561) in his name.

(c) To pass such other and further order which their Lordships of this Hon'ble High Court deem fit and proper may please be passed." 2.
