The State informs this Court that as per procedure, if any individual has ever been involved in any criminal case, his details get uploaded in the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) database. It is stated that SCRB records are maintained at the State level and cannot be altered, modified, or deleted by any specific Police Station. Therefore, the name of the petitioner cannot be removed from the SCRB database by the concerned Police Station.

This Court is also informed that if the petitioner desires verification, endorsement, or stamping of his order of acquittal passed by the Trial Court The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 04/12/2025 at 12:03:26
for any official purpose, he may visit the concerned Police Station with a certified copy of the order of acquittal. Upon verification, the same shall be duly stamped/endorsed as per rules.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the fact that the petitioner can approach the concerned police station with the certified copy of the order of acquittal which will be duly stamped as per rules, he does not want to pursue the present petition. 4.
In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. 5.
