The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning an order dated 07.03.2018 passed under the provisions of the Pre-Conception & Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of an appeal under Section 21 of the said Act and, infact, the petitioner has also availed the said remedy. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the said appeal was filed way back and the same was reserved for final orders on 09.10.2018. He seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to assail

the order passed by the Appellate Tribunal, if aggrieved. 4.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The pending application is also disposed of.
