Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the concerned police officers for wilful disobedience of the directions given by the concerned Magisterial Court on 06.05.2024. 4.
It is submitted that despite specific directions, Action Taken Report has not been submitted by the concerned police officials. 5.
Next date before the concerned Magisterial Court is stated to be 07.12.2024.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner states that without prejudice to his rights and contentions, he does not press this contempt petition at the moment. He, however, submits that in case there is no compliance even on the next date, he may be permitted to approach this Court again.

The contempt petition is disposed of as not pressed. Liberty, as prayed, is granted.

This Court also expects that the concerned Magisterial Court would not give any unwarranted indulgence in the matter and would proceed with the matter in accordance with law.
