The application stands disposed of.

This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 373/2020 dated 26.08.2020 under section 498A/406/354-B/354-A/506/509/323/325/328/34 IPC, registered at PS Lajpat Nagar, Delhi.

As per the FIR, there are allegations of sexual harassment, dowry demand and cruelty.

The parties have arrived at a settlement dated 14.03.2024 before the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Mediation Centre, Family Courts, Saket District Courts. Respondent No. 2 has also issued a no objection certificate in this regard. 6.

According to the settlement, a total sum of Rs. 25 lakhs was to be paid, out of which Rs. 16,00,000/- has already been paid and Rs. 9,00,000/- is paid today by Demand Draft No. 847773 dated 07.11.2024 drawn on IndusInd Bank.

Petitioners Nos. 1-3 are present in Court and identified by Mr. Vishal Chauhan, learned counsel.

Petitioner No. 4 is also present and identified by Ms. Aakriti Garg, learned counsel.

The respondent No. 2 is present and identified by Mr. Mohit, learned counsel and IO SI Naveen.

There is no child is born out of the wedlock. 11.

The parties state that they have entered into the aforesaid settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any threat, force, undue influence or coercion.

Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure the ends of justice. This court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further. It is a fit case for quashing. In this view of the matter, there is no reason to continue the proceedings. 13.

In view of the above, the FIR No. 373/2020 dated 26.08.2020 under section 498A/406/354-B/354-A/506/509/323/325/328/34 IPC, registered at PS Lajpat Nagar, Delhi and consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
