% 16.09.2019 1.
The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 0061/2018 under Section 420 of the IPC registered at P.S. Patel Nagar, Central, Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed. 2.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioners and respondent no.2 (Pawan Chawla) have settled their disputes and bulk of the payments required to be made in terms of the settlement, as arrived at between the parties, have been paid. He states that only a sum of ₹90 lakhs now remains to be paid. Respondent no.2 is not present in Court. 3.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file afresh after the settlement is implemented. It is also clarified that if the parties are unable to conclude the settlement, the
petitioners would not be precluded from filing afresh to challenge the said FIR on merits, if otherwise permissible in law. 4.
The pending application is also disposed of.
