The Petitioner - Km. Vineeta has joined the proceedings today again through Video Conferencing ("VC") and again affirmed the statement regarding settlement of the present Petition. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that he was unable to contact the Petitioner, however, identifies that the woman appearing through VC is the Petitioner - Km. Vineeta.

The Petitioner has settled the matter with Respondent No.9 - Airplaza Retail Holdings Private Limited and a Settlement Agreement dated 14.01.2026 ("Settlement Agreement") has been executed between the Parties. The Settlement Agreement is on record. The same has been signed by the Petitioner, Mrs. Urmila Devi, mother of the deceased and Mr. Munshi Lal, father of the deceased and the representative of Respondent No.9. 4.
In terms of the Settlement Agreement, the Respondent No.9 has made payment of ₹60,00,000/- by way of three Demand Drafts. The first of which is for a sum of ₹30,00,000/- drawn in the name of the Petitioner, the second one is for a sum of ₹15,00,000/- drawn in the name of Mr. Munshi Lal, father of the deceased and the third is also for a sum of ₹15,00,000/- drawn in the name of Mrs. Urmila Devi, mother of the deceased. The said Demand Drafts also contained the signatures of the Petitioner, father of the deceased and thumb impression of the mother of the deceased. 5.
In view of the aforesaid, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present Petition, which stands disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement arrived at and executed between the Parties. 6.
The Petition as well as the pending Application(s) stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
