These writ petitions have been filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for direction to the Respondents to grant/restore admissions to the children in the schools allocated to them under the Economic Weaker Section (EWS) quota. 2.
At a stage when the writ petitions were filed, the appeals filed by the Petitioners were pending before the District Admission Monitoring Committee (DAMC), however, during the pendency of the writ petitions DAMC has taken a decision and the appeals have been rejected. 3.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks to withdraw these writ petitions to challenge the decisions of the DAMC, as according to the counsel there are several legal infirmities in the Appellate order. 4.
Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of giving liberty to the Petitioner to challenge the speaking order as also the Appellate orders passed by the DAMC.
