The present Petition has been filed by the Appellant under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal [hereinafter referred to as "DRAT"], Delhi, to hear and expeditiously decide the Appeal No.165/2025 captioned Breek Constructions v. Khagendra Jana & Ors.

It is noted that on account of the non-availability of the Chairperson, DRAT, Delhi, the additional charge of the DRAT, Delhi is given to the Chairperson, DRAT, Kolkata.

This Court is of the considered view that it would not be appropriate to issue any directions for expeditious disposal in the absence of complete information with regard to the total number of cases pending before the DRAT, Delhi, particularly when the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Chairperson, DRAT, Kolkata is taking up cases of both Kolkata and Delhi.
