Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for violating the directions contained in order dated 08.08.2024 in W.P.(C) 11004/2024 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. The issue was with respect to arrears for pay revision under 7th Central Pay Commission and following directions were passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court:
"10. In view of the aforesaid, it would be appropriate at this stage to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to Respondents No.1 and 2 to treat this writ petition as a representation and take a decision both with CONT.CAS(C) 1882/2024 1 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. respect to pay revision under 7 CPC and arrears thereof as well as payment of gratuity under the Gratuity Act. The decision shall be taken within 8 weeks from today and shall be a reasoned and speaking order. Needless to state that the decision shall be communicated to the Petitioners within one week thereafter, enabling the Petitioners to take recourse to legal remedies in case of any surviving grievance.
11. Writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms making it clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case." 4.
Shri Shivendra Singh, learned counsel for both the respondents appears on advance notice and submits that the representation is under consideration and shall be decided within one week from today. 5.
He also submits that such statement is based on specific instructions which he has received.

In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioner does not press present contempt petition any more. He, however, at the same time seeks liberty to revive the same in case the decision is not rendered within one week from today, as undertaken today.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of. Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
