The present application i.e. CRL.M.A. 36081/2025 has been moved on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of parole for four weeks on the ground of looking after his wife, who is due to deliver a child. The concern of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the wife of the petitioner herein is due to deliver a child in the second week of January, 2026 and by that time, the application for extension of parole may not be decided by the jail authorities.

In these circumstances, it is specifically directed that considering the peculiar facts of this case, the present application be treated as representation on behalf of the petitioner for grant of parole on the ground of looking after the wife of the petitioner herein and the concerned Jail Superintendent shall decide the same, within a week, under intimation to this Court.

The copy of the present application shall be provided to the concerned Jail Superintendent by tomorrow, when the petitioner will surrender, and an order shall be passed within a week, under intimation to this Court. W.P.(CRL) 3612/2025 7.

In view of the order passed in CRL.M.A. 36081/2025, the present petition stands disposed of.
