O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to demolish and take appropriate action against the illegal and unauthorized construction being carried out in property bearing Municipal No. 4327/3, Ansari Road, Daryaganj, New Delhi-110002. 2.

Responding to the present petition, learned counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") submits that a Show Cause Notice The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. dated 24th October, 2025, has already been issued. 3.

Accordingly, the MCD is directed to take requisite action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question after following the due procedure and in accordance with law.

The Station House Officer ("SHO"), Police Station Daryaganj, is enjoined upon to provide requisite assistance to the MCD, whenever requisite action is sought to be taken by the MCD. 5.

The MCD as well as the SHO, Police Station Daryaganj, are directed to ensure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question.

It is directed that MCD shall allow construction in the said property, only if sanction of Building Plan is granted in this regard. 7.

Upon pointed query by this Court as to why the owner/occupier of the property, which is subject matter of the present writ petition, has not been made a party in the present petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he is not aware about the person who is the owner/occupier of the property in question. He, however, submits that the property where unauthorized construction is taking place, has a shared wall with the property of the petitioner.

Accordingly, it is directed that the right of the owner/occupier of the property in question, to seek remedies in accordance with law, is reserved. 9.

Noting the aforesaid, the present writ petition, along with the pending applications, is disposed of.
