% 16.01.2017 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition was filed prior to the enactment of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. It was jointly filed by several petitioners, some of whom are not related to each other. An application for amendment was filed. But that application was also subsequently withdrawn. The learned counsel now seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file individual petitions/grouping petitions according to their family groups.
