Vide order dated 07.10.2024, the Hon'ble Court has, inter alia, passed the following order:- ".....
2. As further agreed by both sides, now the 50% of awarded amount which was deposited by the petitioner with the registry of this Court be released and for that purpose, list before the Registrar on 16.10.2024....."

As per office report, an amount of Rs.1,75,000/- has been deposited by the petitioner in the present case in compliance of order dated 20.03.2018 passed by the Hon'ble Court being 50% of the awarded amount. 3.

been arrived at between the parties and now in compliance of the aforesaid order passed by the Hon'ble Court the 50% amount deposited by the petitioner in this case is required to be released to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondent also acknowledges the settlement between the parties and submits that the respondent has no objection if the deposited amount be released to the petitioner in terms of the aforesaid order passed by the Hon'ble Court.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties and in terms of the directions of the Hon'ble Court vide order dated 07.10.2024, Registrar (B&A) is directed to release the deposited amount to the petitioner alongwith accrued interest after due verification and receipt.
