By the present petition, the petitioner essentially seeks protection from certain persons who he claims have been threatening him on account of the petitioner having filed an RTI application.

The petitioner claims that the application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 ('RTI Act') was filed in regard to certain properties belonging to DDA. He submits that upon the DDA taking action for demolition of those properties, the persons who were unauthorizedly trying to occupy the said properties The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. have been threatening the petitioner.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that the person who has been named by the petitioner to have threatened him has already been arrested in another FIR. He submits that the pre-arrest bail application of another person who is the brother of the person named in the complaint given by the petitioner, has also been dismissed. 4.

He submits that the phone number of the concerned Beat Officer has also been provided to the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is at liberty to call the Beat Officer in case he feels any immediate threat to his life and liberty and as and when any such complaint is received, an appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law.

In regard to the complaint given by the petitioner on 06.10.2025, he submits that the same will be looked into by the concerned officer and appropriate action will be taken. 6.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed at this stage.

The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains in the future.
