O R D E R

% 07.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Metropolitan Magistrate, Mahila Court - 03, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi on 5th April, 2016. It is submitted that terms of the settlement have been recorded in the joint statement of petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 dated 5th April, 2016 at pages 48 and 49 of the petition. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Gayatri, P.S. Bindapur. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She further submits that terms of

the settlement have already been complied with and that she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, FIR No. 233/2016 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Binda Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
