O R D E R

The present petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.101/2019 registered under Section 380 IPC at P.S. Vikaspuri, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. Later on, Sections 411/451 IPC were also added. 2.
As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners broke into the house of respondent No.2 and stole cash and jewellery items. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that considering the settlement arrived at between the parties before the mediation centre as well as the no objection given by the complainant, the petitioners were acquitted for the offences punishable under Sections 411/451 IPC vide order dated The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case, the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim. It is also submitted that charges are yet to be framed. 5.
Learned counsels for the parties submit that the parties have settled their disputes and entered into a mediation settlement on 06.12.2023 before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi. In terms of the said settlement, respondent No.2 is now left with no claims or grievances whatsoever against the petitioners.

The petitioners and respondent No.2, who are present in Court, have been identified by their respective counsels as well as by the concerned Investigating Officer.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and they undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No.2 states that he has entered into the aforesaid mediation ssettlement out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 8.
Learned counsels for the parties submit that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.
