A Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners seeking Directions to Respondent No.1 to provide adequate Police Protection in view of the serious threats extended by Respondent No.2 to 5, parents of Petitioner No.2. 2.

It is submitted that the Petitioner No.1 and 2 have got married on 28.10.2025 against the wishes of the family members and there is a threat to their life and liberty.

In the circumstances, the SHO of the concerned Police Station where the Petitioners are residing, is directed to share his mobile number and that of the Beat Constable to ensure the safety and liberty of the Petitioners. 4.

The Petition stands disposed of.
