The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce their son, namely, Shehzada, and to protect his life and liberty in accordance with law. 2.
Learned Standing Counsel for the State has handed over a status report, which is taken on record.

As per report, one Sh. Dharmender had also come to police station on 28.10.2025 and sought help of police to trace his daughter. On the basis of such complaint, one GD no. 45 was registered with police station Sidkul, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Haridwar, Uttarakhand and during search, said girl was found along with Shehzada in village Roshnabad. The said girl did not level any allegation against Shehzada and said GD entry was also closed. Since, Shehzada was working in a factory in Haridwar, he told the police that he was not willing to go back to his home and wanted to continue his work in the factory where he was employed as a labourer.

A copy of such status report has also been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioners and after going through the same, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that said Shehzada is still not in touch with his parents and is missing and therefore, a complaint about his being missing may be registered.

Learned standing counsel, on instructions from the investigating officer, submits that an appropriate missing complaint shall be registered forthwith and, if necessary, the same shall subsequently be converted into an FIR in accordance with law.

In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed. 7.
The writ petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
