The Petitioner is a life convict in FIR No. 859/2004 under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act at P.S. Sangam Vihar. He seeks grant of parole for a period of four weeks. 2.

The Petitioner submitted a representation for parole on 30th July, 2025. As no decision was taken, he filed W.P. (Crl.) 2447/2025, which was disposed of with a direction to the authorities to consider his additional representation and take a decision within four weeks. When the same was not done, the Petitioner filed W.P. (Crl.) 3449/2025, which was also disposed of on an assurance by Standing Counsel for the State that a decision would be taken within one week, in terms of the order dated 9th September, 2025.

owing to the non-compliance of earlier directions. It is now informed that vide order dated 16th October, 2025, and he has been granted furlough for a period of two weeks in accordance with the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018, intead of parole in terms of the proviso to Rule 1213 of the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. After availing the third spell of furlough, the Petitioner shall be at liberty to seek parole, upon becoming eligible in accordance with law. 5.
