Mr. S.S. Das, Ms. Ria Das and Ms. Sia Das, Advocates.

versus STATE (NCT OF DELHI) .....Respondent Through:

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANOJ JAIN

O R D E R

% 13.03.2026 1.

At the very outset, Mr. Das, learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, does not press the present application at this stage. He, however, seeks liberty to move application at a subsequent stage, if need so arises. 2.

The application is, accordingly, disposed of as not pressed. 3.

Liberty, as prayed, is granted.

4.

Before parting, this needs to be highlighted that the applicant, a lady, has already suffered incarceration for a period of more than three years and it is apprised that out of 33 cited prosecution witnesses, only 5 witnesses have been examined so far and, therefore, the learned Trial Court would make best endeavour to dispose of the abovesaid case as expeditiously as possible.
