Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 70 years and is a widow. She has filed a complaint under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 which is still pending before the SDM since the year 2021 and has not been disposed for unknown reasons, Therefore, request has been made in the present petition for expediting the hearing on the complaint in a time bound manner.

Considering the facts that the petitioner is a senior citizen and her complaint is stated to be pending since the year 2021, the concerned SDM is directed to expeditiously dispose of the complaint as per law. The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
