By filing present revision petition, the petitioner has assailed the orders dated 30.04.2012 whereby the appeal bearing CA No.11/2012 preferred by him impugning the conviction and sentence awarded to him in complaint case bearing CC No.1054/104 for committing the offence punishable under Section 138 NI Act, has been dismissed. 2.
On the last date of hearing, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the parties had settled the dispute amicably and complete payment has been made.

Learned counsel for the respondent on instructions submits that the respondent has received the complete payment from the petitioner as per the settlement arrived at between them and the respondent does not want any penal action against the petitioner.

This is a case under Section 138 N.I. Act which is compoundable. In view of the offence being compounded, the petitioner is acquitted in the present case.

The petitions stands disposed of.
Crl.M.B.1021/2012 Dismissed as infructuous.
