O R D E R

% 01.11.2017 The learned Counsel for complainant upon instructions states that the matter can be settled if the petitioner pays an amount of Rs. 40 lacs towards full and final settlement of the case within a period of one week. The learned Counsel for the petitioner upon instructions states that the said offer is acceptable and a cheque for a sum of Rs. 30 lacs and another cheque of Rs.10 lac have been tendered which shall be payable to the complainant within 15 days from today.

In view of the above, the parties have approached to the Court for quashing of the FIR No. 262 of 2016 U/s 406/420 I.P.C. registered with P.S. Amar Colony, New Delhi.

An undertaking shall be filed by the complainant in the course of the day recording the aforesaid settlement and that he will be bound by it. The

undertaking by the signatory of the cheque shall also state that it shall be duly honoured on presentation in terms of the aforesaid settlement recorded in Court today.

In view of the aforesaid, the petition stands disposed off. The petitioner would be at liberty to pursue the remedy available to him in accordance with law.

The interim relief is made absolute.
