These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.961/2017 and FIR No.962/2017 dated 11th September, 2017 both registered under Sections 354/354(B)/34/509 IPC at PS New Usmanpur, Delhi on the basis of a compromise arrived at through agreement dated 04th March, 2024, which The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The petitioners and the complainants in these matters are present in Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsel. 3.
As per the settlement, an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- by demand draft No.388363 dated 27th November, 2024 drawn on Bank of Baroda has been made available to the complainant in CRL.M.C. 2904/2024, who has duly accepted the same in Court. An earlier amount of Rs.50,000/- was paid to her which is recorded in order dated 04th October, 2024. 4.
Accordingly, complainants have no objection to the quashing of the said FIRs.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIRs as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.961/2017 and FIR No.962/2017 dated 11th September, 2017 both registered under Sections 354/354(B)/34/509 IPC at PS New Usmanpur, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
