This is a petition under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that disputes arose between the parties under the Record Management Services Agreement dated 01.04.2005. 3.

It is stated that arbitration proceedings commenced on 27.09.2021 and the matter is now at the stage of final arguments. It is stated that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended from time to time and last of the extension was granted by this Court vide Order dated 18.02.2025 passed in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 152/2025, whereby this Court extended the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of nine months, which will come to an end on 11.11.2025.

It is stated that since the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for making the award will come to an end on 11.11.2025, the Petitioner has approached this Court for extension of time for making the award. 5.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent states that the Respondent does not have any objection to the extension of mandate. 6.

In view of the fact that the matter is at the stage of final hearing, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.07.2026 so as to enable the Arbitral Tribunal to conclude the arbitration proceedings and pronounce the arbitral award. 7.

The petition is disposed of along with the pending applications, if any.
