% 03.03.2017 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to refund the security fee deposited by the petitioner in terms of the Awards of the contracts for operation and management of on-board catering service in Train Nos. 2801-02, 5089-90/2589-90, 2507-08/09-10, 2505-06, 5929-30, 5609-10, 2311-12, 2859-60, 8033-34/2833-34, 2779-80, 2909-10, 2903-04 amounting to Rs.1,66,89,000. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite various letters and reminders the respondents have failed to refund the security deposit.

A perusal of the paper book reveals that the petitioner's representations have not been disposed of till date. Consequently, present writ petition and applications are disposed of with a direction to petitioner to file a fresh comprehensive representation within a period of ten days. In the event the representation is filed within the stipulated period, IRCTC is directed to dispose of the same within a further period of four weeks by way of a reasoned order.
