This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 2 months for making and publishing the Final Award.

Mr. Kainthola, learned counsel of the petitioner, states that the arguments have been concluded and only the Award needs to be passed. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Tiwari, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown. 6.

Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended upto 2 months from today to conclude the arbitration proceedings. 7.
